Berlin, Germany, April 10, 2013 – Sound system evolution has taken another big step. AFMG FIRmaker technology optimizes line array performance by precisely calculated FIR filters. Supported systems can be tuned to any venue or setup within minutes delivering previously unknown homogeneous sound from the first to the last row.

Leading hardware manufacturers have been involved with the integration of FIRmaker technology into their platforms for the past months. Key AFMG partner, Lab.gruppen, see great potential for this technology in combination with their Powered Loudspeaker Management platform. “Even SPL coverage to every seat in the house… Using any line array loudspeaker system…Driven by Lab.gruppen PLM Series. This is something we are very excited about, and pleased to be a part of.” commented Martin Andersson, Product Manager for Lab.gruppen. “It’s early days, but all the results we’ve seen so far are extremely positive and we will be putting our full weight behind progressing this and taking it to its full potential.”

Stefan Feistel, AFMG’s managing director is satisfied with the quick results, “Lab.gruppen have immediately recognized the opportunities of our new FIRmaker technology. In time for the launch at ProLight + Sound all PLM Series amplifiers can interface with FIRmaker. We are very happy that one of the most-valued amplifier manufacturers supports our development. Surely thousands of users of both new as well as existing systems will soon benefit from this integration.”

AFMG FIRmaker is officially released at ProLight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany in April 2013.

Picture: Powersoft K Series premium amplifiers are fully FIRmaker enabled.

Berlin, Germany, April 10, 2013 – Powersoft and AFMG have integrated AFMG’s new FIRmaker technology with Powersoft’s quality amplifier products. Based on state-of-the-art acoustic optimization algorithms, AFMG FIRmaker allows fast and highly precise generation of system FIR filters tailored to the venue. These can now be loaded directly into Powersoft’s flagship product lines, the K series of amplifiers and the DSP4 module for powered loudspeakers.

Powersoft managing director Claudio Lastrucci comments, “Loudspeaker companies as well as system users worldwide can now immediately combine the power and flexibility of our product line with the substantial performance enhancements to modern line arrays offered by FIRmaker.” “The new FIRmaker technology puts revolutionarily uniform sound coverage, spectral consistency and SPL at your disposal. All of this is software-only, meaning it can be applied to both new as well as existing sound systems. – Powersoft K-Series amps support FIRmaker out of the box!” adds Stefan Feistel, managing director of AFMG.

AFMG FIRmaker is officially released at ProLight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany in April 2013.

FIRmaker - Put Your Sound Where It Belongs!

After an intense period of research and development, AFMG is excited to present a revolutionary new technology at ProLight & Sound 2013: AFMG FIRmaker will bust the limits of today’s most advanced sound systems such as line arrays and column loudspeakers. With the help of this radically different tuning approach, new and existing loudspeaker systems can be enabled to achieve optimum coverage, SPL and frequency response over all the audience areas of any given venue – easily configured on site and in just seconds!

Preview of SysTune 1.3: Integration with Major DSP Controllers

2013-03-29 13:21

Some buzz words have been driving our business for a long while and will continue to do so from what we can see. Among those are "Lake Controller" and "d&b audiotechnik". SysTune now speaks two more languages and adds those to the long list of supported devices that integrate with SysTune.
Come and preview what SysTune 1.3 will bring to owners of high-end PA systems.

Trade a Shirt

We have been amazed by the effect our t-shirt lottery has caused last year. Since then, we have received numerous requests from SysTune users who would like to have a SysTuner t-shirt too.
Of course, we can't give huge amounts away for free... but we would be willing to trade!

Join us on Facebook, come and visit our booth at ProLight & Sound (Hall 8.0 Booth E34) and trade your old shirt for a brand new SysTuner T-Shirt!
(As long as supplies last.)

You're not coming to Germany for PLS? – We'll be coming to Orlando, FL for InfoComm and we'll bring some shirts!
