We are delighted to announce that Dima Vavilov has joined AFMG's Customer Success team in the position of a sales engineer as of April 2024. Bringing in a multi-skilled professional will allow us to cover different responsibilities and ensure that every aspect of our interaction with our customers is managed in a competent way.

Dima received a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in 2008 from Novosibirsk State University. Following his strong affinity to all things audio and acoustics, he successfully founded and ran his own company in the field of professional audio equipment supply and integration. After eight years of practice, Dima returned to university and studied music production and sound engineering at Catalyst in Berlin, Germany, to learn more about the theoretical background of the field. Dima‘s career continued as an engineer at a number of internationally-based sound design and acoustic consulting firms, where he gained advanced professional experience in acoustic engineering, audio production and immersive designs as well as 3D modelling.

A combination of solid technical, managerial and communication skills is what Dima now brings to the table, helping our team to work even better.

He states "I have always taken my curiosity about sound seriously, and I am delighted to be working with such an experienced team and learning directly from the leading minds in the industry. I'm really happy joining the Customer Success team to help acousticians and system engineers around the world to apply AFMG technology and software features to take their services and businesses to the next level. And that's with the ultimate goal in mind - to give their clients and visitors, which is all of us, the best possible sound experience".
