EASE 5 - Software & Hardware Requirements

 

Software Requirements

For EASE to install and run properly, the following hardware and software requirements must be fulfilled:

  • 64-bit operating system
  • •Windows version1 10 and 11, or Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
  • .NET Framework v3.5
  • Graphics cards and video drivers compatible with DirectX 11 Feature Level 10 or higher. The DirectX version and the Feature Level can be checked using the "dxdiag" command.

Note: For Apple computers, Parallels® Desktop for Mac version 15 or higher is required to run EASE 5. However, the performance of the software may be limited on the M-series processors.

 

Minimum Hardware Requirements

The following hardware parameters are recommended as a minimum:

  • RAM of 16 GB
  • CPU with 2 GHz and eight processors/cores
  • Screen resolution of 1920 x 1080

 

Recommended Hardware

The following hardware parameters are recommended for working comfortably:

  • RAM of 32 GB
  • CPU with 4 GHz and 16 processors/cores
  • Graphics card based on Nvidia RTX 30XX or 40XX series, AMD Radeon RX 6XXX and 7XXX, or Intel IRIS
  • Screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 or more

 

Maximum Performance Hardware

The following hardware parameters are recommended for maximum performance:

  • RAM of 64 GB or more
  • CPU with 5 GHz and 16 processors/cores or more
  • Graphics card based on Nvidia RTX 4070 series and higher, or AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT and higher
  • Screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 or more

 

Virtualization

It is possible to run EASE 5 in virtual machines. However, to make use of the latest software advancements, GPU acceleration must be supported and configured for the host and the guest system. This requires a current version of Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2016 and higher.
 

1There are no known issues for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2012. However, no bug fixes or technical support will be provided for issues that occur only on these outdated versions of Windows.
