FIRmaker is a universal optimization technology. - Are there any trade-offs?
FIRmaker can be considered a universal optimization solution. It is capable of being used with almost any loudspeaker that is licensed for the technology by its manufacturer. It may differ in its implementation and optimization algorithm from those of proprietary solutions.
In fact, we believe that over 30 years of experience in simulation and optimization make AFMG the ideal company to come up with such a universal approach. The FIRmaker algorithms are so unique and at the same time so versatile that they cover basically every possible setup. Tweaking them with new parameters and optimization goals is easy. We have not seen limitations of the technology so far.
Of course, there are situations where the simple limits of physics do not allow optimization at all or only to a small extent.
