EASE - Master Class
Language: English (Consecutive interpreting into Chinese by Dr. Ji Xiang, Johnson Chow)
This intense 3 days EASE-Master Class will mainly focus on EASE 4, including advance topics on AURA and EARS modules, while giving an introduction to the new EASE 5-FE to help EASE users to learn the advantage of the new tools and workflows.
EASE 5 - Take advantage of the new workflows!
EASE 5 offers numerous new tools and workflows which you can now take advantage of.
No matter if you are new to EASE or an experienced EASE 4 user, we want to invite you to take a closer look at the innovative toolsets for managing your project such as views, tables and selection sets. Get insight into the fast and efficient workflows for creating or importing the 3D model, adjusting room acoustic parameters, tuning the sound system and setting up the signal processing as well as conducting STI assessments.
Here is what you can do:
Why does my EASE model have a negative room volume?
A negative volume means that your room is "inside-out", which might result from the fact most or all faces or your model have the wrong orientation.
How can I close holes in my model?
Especially when using statistical room acoustics or raytracing methods in EASE, calculations may provide erroneous results if the room is not closed properly. This is not as important when only the coverage of the sound system is investigated.
EASE Training - EASE 4 and Transition to EASE 5-FE
This 5 days on-site training will be based on EASE 4, giving an introduction to the new tool EASE 5-FE for a smooth transition.
Entry Level: 2 days (600 USD)
Advanced Level: 5 days (1,250 USD)
Acoustic Effect of Audience Areas and Listener Seats in EASE 5
When I enter Audience Areas and/or Listeners Seats, are the seats already considered "occupied" for the mapping calculations? If not - how do I simulate real listeners?
Neither Audience Areas nor Seats do have any acoustical effect on simulation results, thus do not include any absorption data and are therefore acoustically transparent. Audience Areas and Listener Seats serve as receiver points for simulations only.
